Role at CADDA: As a loan officer, I am in charge of meeting clients, determining loan programs, gathering information needed for underwriting, performing a financial analysis, and presenting/submitting applications for approval. I strive to walk the clients through the loan process from start to finish, making the experience as streamline and easy as possible.
Experience: I began my endeavor in the banking industry in 2001 and continued in various retail roles for seven years. In 2008, I began working at CADDA administering SBA loans. Combined, I have over 19 years in banking, 12 of which consists of SBA/small business lending.
What I like best about working at CADDA: Having experienced different facets of the banking industry, I consider my lending position at CADDA the most rewarding. Being able to take part in providing a loan, whether SBA or other, to a small business is gratifying in so many ways. I feel like I have a role in making people’s dreams come true or helping them grow their existing dream. Small business owners are special, as they have a vision and are willing to work to see that vision through. I strive to help them along the way, boosting the economy with economic development, one business at a time.
Fun fact: I originally went to school for Interior Design and Art. Somehow I ended up in banking & finance. However, I still love to paint and draw in my spare time.
