Terry Louk

Chief Executive Officer

Role at CADDA: I am responsible for all financial functions including financial reporting and analysis, accounting, budgeting, payroll and employee benefits, as well as all loan program reporting requirements. I oversee the loan closing process, gather and review all closing documents, and work with the lenders, borrowers and closing attorneys to ensure all documentation is compliant with internal policies and SBA, EDA or USDA guidelines. I also monitor CADDA’s loan portfolio through financial statement analysis, risk rating, loan performance and compliance review, and work with borrowers on loan servicing, modifications and liquidations.

Experience: With over 30 years of accounting experience, my interest in helping and working with small businesses began during my 15 years as an employee, and later partner, of a small local CPA firm.  As an auditor, tax preparer, QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and QuickBooks trainer, I worked with all types of businesses and non profit organizations.  Prior to becoming an employee of CADDA in 2015, I worked with the organization for 10 years, overseeing their payroll processing and facilitating the month end closing process.

I earned my degree in Mathematics at North Georgia College (now the University of North Georgia) and later returned to complete my accounting degree.  I earned my MBA through Georgia Southern.

What I like best about working at CADDA: Working at CADDA allows me to continue helping small businesses grow and expand while increasing jobs and job opportunities in our community.

Fun fact: I have served as the “Chilitarian” for the Red Hot Rotary Chili Cookoff hosted by the Golden Isles Rotary Club for more years than I can remember.
