SBA Disaster loans are available for businesses and residents in declared disaster areas to help communities recover and rebuild from the impacts of Hurricane Helene and Tropical Storm Debby.
Business Physical Disaster Loans
Loans to businesses to repair or replace disaster-damaged property owned by the business, including real estate, inventories, supplies, machinery and equipment. Businesses of any size are eligible. Private, non-profit organizations such as charities, churches, private universities, etc., are also eligible.
Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL)
Working capital loans to help small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private, non-profit organizations of all sizes meet their ordinary and necessary financial obligations that cannot be met as a direct result of the disaster. These loans are intended to assist through the disaster recovery period.

Additional Resource for Tropical Storm Debby
Coastal Area District Development Authority is offering working capital disaster loans up to $50,000 for business that experienced temporary loss of revenue, loss of inventory, or property damage from Tropical Storm Debby. Loan proceeds are for recovery assistance to those businesses that demonstrated credit worthy track record prior to the disaster and have not received any other assistance for Tropical Storm Debby.
Eligibility Requirements
- For-profit businesses in Bryan and Bulloch Counties
- Operating for at least two years
- Currently operational
- Demonstrated credit-worthy track record prior to the disaster
- Have not received any other assistance for Tropical Storm Debby
Loan Details
- Up to $50,000 in working capital
- Fixed interest rate of 6.5%
- Repayment period of five years
